Shiver me timbers!

As tonnes of timber from the sunken Ice Prince wash up on the south coast you’ve been getting busy with your cameras!

After a dramatic rescue attempt last week the doomed ship sunk in the channel near Portsmouth. Its cargo has now drifted miles down the coast – mostly ending up along the coast of Worthing, Brighton and Hastings.

YourNews was been awash with your pictures and videos of the stricken cargo. Click here to see see and upload your own.

Blue Monday?

Apparently, today is the most depressing day of the year - Christmas is long gone, we've all broken our New Year resolutions, the weather's terrible and those Christmas credit card bills are dropping on the doormat with a heavy thud about now.

Not here at ITV Local! Our citizen correspondents have been out with their cameras checking out the driftwood timber at Worthing and Hove beaches - incredible shots of debris from the sunken Ice Prince cargo ship which was lost in the Channel last week.

And, as ever, we have enough going on close to you in our What's On channel to brighten the grimmest January Monday.

And if things are still bad, you can always ask Russell Grant when your fortunes are due to change....
